The owner of that 325is is as cagey as he'll, I'm still trying to get vin number out of him, as well as dealer car was serviced at.

I'm pretty confident it's a scam

The pricing is not in line with cars that are in the condition as this is claimed to be, probably a scam or if legit a great buy.

Exactly the car I'm wanting someone to see, but in talking to the guy it does seem a little odd, he wanted a holding deposit without me seeing the car

Yup, wanted me to do the same thing, I spoke to him 15 minutes after add went up. I told him if he could provide vin and photo of service book, that I would fly to bloem on the next available flight.

He then went quiet!

I just messaged the guy again to chase for vin number, and I got a reply "THE CAR IS SOLD"

so check if he still wants a holding deposit ?

I went to school in welkom. Lots if dodgy okes around. Then again, lots of honourable people. Mmm. Ok. My post is completely pointless, best to ignore it completely. :-B
