Unichip

If your car is standard or you don't intend on doing any mods to the car then you won't reap the full benefits of having one installed and mapped.

They work well, but in my opinion are only an option if you have no access/interface to the tables in your oem ecu. You do get harnesses for certain cars which circumvents the loom splicing and can only me mapped by Dastek authorised dealers as the software isn't open source.

On my E36 M3, it worked well and got me to 234kw with fairly simple bolt ons. Fuel consumption was better and the car performed really well on topend...

Are you sure RGM didn't quote you on a stage one conversion? Exhaust, filter, uni q.

You cannot simply return a flashed car back to standard without having another flash done. Tuner makes way more money off you in the long run. Uni Q just unplugs and car is back to stock.

No its just for the UniQ, then the Dp is R6k, the air filter R2k abd the full exhaust another R22k

2K for filter?!...what they smoking??...I want some.

I bought a BMC filter for 800...that's for my M135i.

I think someone is building a Nkandla of their own.

Go direct to Dastek in PTA for the Uni Q set up.

They do not do it anymore. I was referred to a Dastek Dealer when I called them. Pieter De Weedt is who I wanted to tune my car initally.

Ross at RBTS Racing also does a great job

Hey guys

I was reading though this discussion and realised I have a Uni chip that has been sitting around for a while at home. It was on my Golf 6 GTI and was from RGM.

Not sure if it would work on a BMW but if someone wants to buy it for like R1000 they can take it off my hands.
It has a plug and play harness also, so they don't have to splice it in.

PM me if interested :coolShake:
