Tyre Question ?

Would any of you or do run runflats on the E39 M5. Reason for asking is that I can only get runflats from Bridgestone at the moment ?

Had a similar problem when I was shopping for tyres. Most guys had stock of the sizes I wanted in run flat only. However, I was advised that the E39 ride would be terrible on run flats and this coupled with the silly prices for the rft's, I decided to shop around a bit longer an eventualy found non-rft's in the sizes I wanted. However, it was a bit of a struggle ....

BTW, mine was 17s not 18s.

Have you considered other brands?

Yes but what will work, some have lots of road noise. Some make your car feel as if it is drifting and need something that is just as good in the wet as in the dry as I do not slow down when it is wet.

I agree, runflats suck.
I've got 30 profile tyres on the rear and they ride softer than my mates E90 with 17" runflats.
