hello guys, which engine can fit on the 2006 e90 320i apparently I have the n46b20, is it a good engine and is there some1 selling that engine in the forum mine is unserviceable the conrods are messed up I dont know about the stuff in the sub assembly like pumps and the rest so I was looking for the same engine or the better one as long as it will be a direct fit I dont mind remapping my ecu

On the 4 cyl N46B20 is your only bet.

If you go for anything more, you have to change wiring, DME, need to change the CAS, need to change the key's

You are going to battle however to source an N46 motor, as they are not the most reliable, and frequantly are replaced..

Try MD House, Autofever, Bemows, Bonnerts and Electron.

You can also try Japan Auto and some of the other engine import companies.
