This has gotten me in the mood to sell the 540 an get another E30. E30's are great cars. They're comfy, practical, simple, fun, and easy to work on.

I was just going to link this

lol at aftermarket suspension ruining BMW fit proper stuff and it will make you happy... fit junk and the results are to be expected...
BMW come with well tuned suspension from factory improving on it means you have to spend money on stuff with Good R&D this is why I refuse to sell cheap coilover kits... I will not fit them to my car so I wont sell them...

Also just saw this and still have a boner :inlove:

I so miss my E30. I'm even willing to swop my E36 for a decent E30 coupe. Maybe I must try that

Ja well, that is a good question. Seeing as the guys now days ask al sorts of sill prices for some realy f.. horrible condition E30's, I reckon I can't say one in the same price class as my E36.

I guess a straight, unmolested example. Preferably a plastic bumper 325i without sunroof. One does not need a shed load of work. Neat condition. I'm not looking for a 325is, just a normal 325i coupe, manual transmission.

Mmmmmm.

I bought a single owner 1986 323i Coupe Auto last week. Car is straight but does need some attention. No modification and ALL trims in place.

I collecting another e30 mid December so I don't mind looking at a swap between the 323 and ur 328 with a cash difference to your favour.

Well by the sound of it yes, for less than R100k. You can buy directly from the guy and do the work yourself, then it should work you out much cheaper.
