I my travels searching for an E36 328i, i found almost all the cars are missing the tools and/or jack.

Wha'ts the going rate for a set of tools? It doesn't have to be new but i'd really like it to fit into the molds.

:EDIT: (Grammer)

I have never tried the dealers for the tools but i fairly sure that they would be wanting something insane, and it is also quite a mission to find the tools second hand as most of the tools are "removed" from the cars before they reach the scrap yards. Best is to just keep asking around scrap yards till you get lucky and built up the tool kit like that.

Places like Midas will have tools - of course not OEM, but they will be suitable to do the job. You should be able to get a scissors type jack from them.

I filled 3 or 4 gaps in my tool kit with dealer tools. It was a couple hundred rand. I am now on the look out for the genuine first aid kit. Dealer wants R500 odd for that. Anyone have one?

most people remove them, I removed my first aid kit when I sold my E90 323i. with kids, its a nice to have.

When I bought the Dynamic, the only tools it came with was the reversable screw driver and the rim locknut key. I complained about it and made them order the spanner and allenkey. Seeing as the Owners Manual states that you use the allenkey to lower/close the sunroof (which the car has) in the event of the electronics failing... I remember seeing a invoice for R97 for the tools.
