Transporting a Car

What is the best, safe and most cost effective way of transporting a vehicle from KZN to Cape Town?

Grindrod was cheaper than that and it included insurance

I'm transporting from PMB, could it be because they don't have a depot. there, that it's costing that much?

Possibly, i had to have vehicle dropped of and collected from the depots
Durban depot is in Umbogintwini

I think it depends on the value of the car as well. A friend of mine used Grinrod to transport his 320i not too long ago and he paid around R2500 if i remember correctly. For my 330i they quoted close to R5000. This is JHB-EL btw.

I have no regrets driving back though:rollsmile: It was awesome and got a chance to have some bonding time with my car:rollsmile:

My only concern is driving back the car, with all the stone chips as well as the mileage that it will gain.
It's a real gem and really don't want to hurt it (Can't tell you guys just yet what it is):inlove:

The amount of mileage i will put on in this one trip, i will probably put on in about 3/4 Years.

Plus, Grinrod said it will take 7-10 Business days to have the car here in CT.

I'm confused guys (and this doesn't happen often, lol)...Give me some words of wisdom!
