Traffic Ticket Help

Hey guys , I need help as I might end up in groet#### .

On the way back from NewCastle KZN , via Volkrust , I was flashed doing between 90 and 100kmph in a 80kmph zone . How bad will this ticket be ? And lastly where do I go to pay it ? Yesterday I went to Pretoria Ticket Dept in Town , Andries street but they don't have a notification of such and said I should check the KZN offices . Help please , If my parents find out I'm going to Thanks alot

you might not even get a ticket some times it flashes but no ticket comes... maybe try call the NewCastle traffic dept and see if they have anything...

haha , i know i own a bmw but nope nope , I'm a student and paying hefty fines feels like a complete waste to me , and then i must sit the rest of the month at home while my friends go out :thumbdo:

In a 80km/h zone they only trap from 90, and then the fines are R500 for going 90-94 (discount amount R250), R1000 for going 95-99 (R500 discount amount)

I remember my first fine. Worry my ass of. In the end when it came, my parents laughed and said your paying it, that is all. It should be a small fine if at all.

91-95 km/h in a 80 zone: R250 (R125 discount amount)
96-100 km/h in a 80 zone: R500 (R250 discount amount)
101-105 km/h in a 80 zone: R750 (R325 discount amount)

R250 - R125 = R125 fine ?

Been there done that @ Newcastle. A parking ticket. Had to go pay at the office in town near pick and pay. But with pay fine online is easy.

In almost 30 years of driving I have been fined twice, for not coming to a "complete" stop at stop street. never got a speeding fine, although the "ex" misses raked up about 5 in one year on the highway near Linksfield offramp, whilst driving my E36 325i....so on record I have had a few, physicall none

I'm still waiting for a court summons! And that was a good year ago now!

We really need a solid way of getting around these things. They can't have us driving around in BMW's worrying about speeding. That's absurd!

these fines are terrible.. very badly admined aswell
