To software or not to software????

[120diesel]

Hi guys i recently bought a 120d its just outa motorplan now so im thinking bout having software fitted. i dont know much bout this kinda thing so hopefully you guys can enlighten me!

I asked around some of the guys said ill get about 150kw:thumbsup: and 390nm:excited: but the problem is overheating coz there aint no heat gauge on the vehicle.


Has any1 fitted software on a 120d???

Who can do this conversions and whats the cost more or less??

Get in touch with Combined Electronics in Cape Town (Plattekloof), tel 021-9303549. They are the agents for Superchips in the Cape area and the one guy runs a 120D with modified chip. He will probably be able to help you with info, etc. They can also help with problems with radios, ECU's, etc., very knowledgeable, bit expensive though but very efficient and quick (repaired my E39 radio within 20min while I waited - removed it in about 20sec flat!!)

GOCH&COOPER or Koos Swanepoel in capetown will sort you out with DASTEK UNIQ chip, nothing better on diesels..
I was on the Advanced Dastek tuning course with two of the guys from Goch&COOPER and what awesome guys!
They will sort you out for sure.. plus you can re use the chip on any future car!
