Guys,

As you know my e46 was up for sale. But alot of time wasters just requesting pics. Window shoppers.
One guy actually sent me finance confirmation and canceled this morning so i really dont wana sell anymore.

So i booked the car in now. they busy fitting Power flow exhaust. Sending the car in next week to spray the front(Stone Chips).

i want to fit a Turbo after everything is 100%. nothing Fancy just want a bit more power and the sound. Is turbo the best option or Supercharger?

Is it safe to do it on the 320i engines? If anyone has done this before or know abit more please help.

If anyone does this or knows someone reliable to do the setup please send me contact details (Gauteng).

I know its not much but i have like 20k to do something.

I know someone on the forum was selling the supercharger kit for the e46. Think it was the rgm setup.

Cant remember who but maybe that will be better?

im going for an eaton Supercharger because i want good low end torque and throttle response but i have to build it up myself...
if you not going to DIY it i dont think you can get this done for 20k even if you run low boost on stock internals...

if you can do the install yourself you might be able to do it for 20k but i think it will go over budget:dunno:

Ok so i am not really a DIY guy. Ill break everything. So both options are out then.

Can i maybe upgrade the motor? Atleast 330ish.....

That will also cost much more. The cheapest would be to take a tradein on a 330i... I would get a 330d 2005 e46. Its has essentially the same drivetrain as the E90, but for much cheaper. Very tuneable...

@ P1000. I know what you saying but damn to part with my e46 for another will not be an option. I doubt i will get the same colour. Estoril blue was the best colour the e46 came out with. I love my car but it just needs abit more push.

0.5 bar will give you what you want but it wont be done for 20k maybe fone around and get some quotes so you know how much you looking at...
or wait and see how mine turns out it will probably be easy to adapt my system to your car...

or you could go for the ESS system it does work and is reliable

my system will be very similar and will cost way less but it has not been tested ill just have to see how it goes

If you want to go the FI route I would say supercharge, just for the reason that I thing superchargers are cooler , but if you want real power, turbo would be your best bet. I think you will be able to get much done with R20k, but you will have to do research and during that time you can save up some more
