Throttle lag

I have been wondering if it is possible to remove the throttle lag that exist in the drive-by-wire setup by a re-map of the ECU.

I am considering getting a SprintBooster as the lag is bugging me a lot, but if a remap can do it then I would rather go that route.

I do drive a R53 mini though, which is probably the worst of all the BMW systems.

Read too many horror stories about the SprintBooster thing, or think it is the same thing, on the overseas forums. The problem is not so much the throttle sensitivity, it's as you say, the lag - the time between throttle input (yours) and the actual adjustment of the throttle plate or Valvetronic depending on what you have. This all makes me yearn for the days of good old cable operated throttle. But it can be fixed...
