Thinking of trading my Cooper S for the Polo GTI

One of my colleages has the new Polo GTI and has endless problems with it and the clueless dealer. I'm not sure if this is just an isolated case though.

I don't have anything against the GTI, its just a little anonomys.

Good friend of mine has the GTI. I enjoy it a lot, 21k Kms and not a problem. Up to you though, ultimately it's your money.

I do like the DSG gearbox though :rollsmile:

Its a stunning car to drive but a bit bland compared to the Cooper S IMHO.

The new ones are out with the xenons and leds, looks very nice

Why not wait and see if the Gen3 Mini comes with a dual clutch gearbox

Excellent little car, but too many problems with the 1.4TSI motors. Even in stock form.

From Sept 2013, the Polo GTi gets a new engine number (CTH) - its the one to get!! Check the relevant forums for more info
