Thermostat

Hi Guys

My 2004, 318I F/L, has a very slight leak from one of the hoses under the car. I replaced the radiator last year at Silverton, Randburg. I took it back for an opinion, and was told that the Thermostat needed to be replaced, as the Temp difference between the "top" and "bottom" was greater that 13degrees.
I don't know if this is correct, but was asked to get the Thermostat replaced, as this was preventing the circulation of the coolent.
What is the price of the Thermostat, and is this a DIY job? Do I need to get the Thermostat from the agents or Autozone.
The car is running fine, and there are no signs of heating.

Howsit buddy.

Yes an agents thermostat would be better. But it is possible to get one from Autozone or Goldwagen.

As for a diy it is possible. You don't even need any special tools.
