THE KZN BROTHERHOOD

Since joining this forum towards to beginning of 2010 I always read the threads posted by the Gauteng and Cape Town forumites and was slightly envious of the knowledge of some members, spirit and willingness by most members to help each other out. I wanted the same for KZN and recently I feel like we have accomplished that.

This has been building quietly in the background and a lot of kak praat happens via BBM, WhatsApp etc but there is a genuine solid brotherhood that has developed as a consequence. The amount of Technical knowledge that resides in members such as Kish2604 and Alister///M is a great asset to the KZN contingent and the forum. I encourage other KZN members to consult these 2 wise men before tinkering with your cars and entrusting other service providers with your cars.

Then we have other members who are ever willing to go the extra mile for fellow members in various aspects like Yulz in arranging events, taking pics and giving members advice on tax and investment issues. I should mention that Kish2604 is also a Financial genius and also offers advice on investments etc. We have DROP IT - ZN, the man who always knows where you can get the best deals. Dont buy anything without talking to DROP IT - ZN.

We have sidewayz, heven, sykotic, Diablo Jnr who have been part of the brotherhood since the beginning and always at the forefront of helping out fellow members whether it be to help a guy who runs out of petrol :fencelook: or to be a good friend to a member in time of a personal drama / crisis.

I am proud to have formed a friendship with these great men and look forward to entrenching the same good spirit in some of our younger :fencelook: members who recently have joined our clan. Even some of our more recently enlisted members have shown this spirit like kugs330

The aforementioned members I listed are a great example of how to build a solid community and definitely provide a high standard for the newer members. For the other KZN forumites who have not yet experienced this brotherhood, I ask of you "What are you waiting for?" Join us at our next event which is this Saturday and experience it for yourself

What makes it even greater is that when you get into trouble in KZN there is a support system for us and the same applies when you guys visit here.

This thread really touches an emotional nerve for me,
During a difficult phase in life which I had to encounter I had the priveledge of having the "brotherhood" stand by myside offering immense support, strength and courtesy
A "brotherhood" that actually took time off work etc.. Just to show their care and support...It's something you hardly hear of or see in this day and age

Believe you me this ain't your average bunch of guys

:praise:

Not sure how I missed this thread but I just find it amazing how by some arb car related query, google search or recommendation we were all somehow directed to this forum, joined it and over time forged a solid regional group of regulars who have become mighty good friends in the process. The guys are ever ready to lend a helping hand, be there in your time of need or deflate your ego should it be required :)

Another thing I love about our KZN crew is there is no power struggle or fight for the limelight. If you have an event in mind that you feel will be cool for everyone to join in, you go ahead run with it and organise with the aid of the regulars. Each person shares responsibilities and we work as a team. No one person takes all the credit.
I work with a very big charitable organisation and other smaller ones, there are so much politics and power struggles involved there between people that are even family, it is actually amazing how well these bunch of okes work together when you look at it.

Glad to be a part of this brotherhood
