Saw this movie at Sandton City last night. Also the HFR version in 3d - the video quality is stunning and the movie was awesome :thumbs:

If you intend watching this movie, I highly recommend going to a cinema that has HFR for this particular movie. Some of the scenery is just epic :inlove:

Saw this last night at Gateway.... The HFR quality is super amazing.....:thumbs:

Movie drags a bit thou....

Any LOTR fans can explain this to me thou.... Gandalf finds the king of Gondors sword in the troll cave.... Wasn't this sword broken ages ago when Sauron was destroyed and then only rebuilt in return of the king...?

I had to watch breaking dawn as well...must say it was not bad at all.

the hobbit is the 1st book in the series.... ie: movies are not in chronological order ( gone back in time)

reason for that is, upon writing the books, there wasnt a good response to the hobbit, but rather to the lord of the rings ,

so it was decided to make LOTR movies 1st.
