I've just returned from watching this and found it a bit boring. I keep comparing it to LOTR and just can't get to like any of the characters - elves were great. The talking dragon put me off a lot. My son loved it and says the movie is true to the book.

i didnt enjoy the first one,but my son loved it and even got it on dvd and he is begging me to take him to see it before school starts.i just keep coming up with reasons not to go:rollsmile:
