Thailand and Dubai

Had my first overseas trip this year. Left on the 6th Sept to Bangkok, then to Phuket and then to Dubai.

Flew from Durban to Dubai, caught a connecting flight 4hours later to Bangkok, got to Bangkok hotel at 20:30 the next day, walked the streets the same night for some chows, ate prawns as big as a ruler length. The next day I shopped like a boss at MBK, took a tuk tuk back to the hotel. Next day I flew to Phuket, toured the island, went to Bangla Road, did the PHI PHI Island by Speed Boat, stayed in Phuket for 5days, then flew to Dubai to get smacked by 32 degree temps at 4am. Did a day tour with the Big Bus, saw the entire city, went to The Dubai Mall, shopped like a Boss there too, ate a McD's burger that was oversized, did the 4x4 in the desert excursion, watched a man dance his dress off there too. Flew back to SA and wished I could've did this travel thing sooner.

Ate a McD's chicken burger that resembled live fowl, shopped like a boss and ran away from the dudes that wanted me to come for their ping pong shows

Been to Dubai a few times and quite familiar with most tourist attractions. Cant say that I have heard of "burg alshike zaied."

Can't say I miss ever 3rd shop i pass asking if i want a massage.
Patong is freaky for a place with no robots.
None the less it's an awesome place. Would love to go back.

Used to work for Emirates and stayed there for a few times.
