Hi U all. Born, bred and still stay in the south of JHB. Son convinced me to replace the Pathfinder with an E70 X5 3.5d. So far so good and very pleased. My other rides are 1979 TA 6.7l Firebird and a 1985 Honda CBX 1000. Know old school tech with carburettors, points, distributors, dwell angels, coils etc. Do not understand the on-board computer, fuel injection and electronic ignitions era. I leave that to my son with his experience and his trusted laptop/i-pad and ‘THE WEB’ to solve problems in those fields. Wife’s got a Mini, son 530d and daughter in-law X3. Will post X5 picture later.

I also convinced my Dad to buy a 35d a while back, do you have the M-Sport package? He used to have an E53 4.4i X5 so he does miss the V8 noise, misses it a lot actually.
