Suspension specialists??

Wsup,

Ok by now I thought I'd be able to stay with Twins' 335 in a straight line :)rollsmile:) but here I am still trying to sort suspension issues :yuck:

Since the ball-joint failure I've replaced both control-arms with brand new OEMs (never pressfitting again...). Took the car for alignment (locally :fencelook:) and they were confused because the car's riding lowered springs...needless to say 150 bucks later, the car still had a vibration at 110+ from the front left. Get home and notice that in the straight ahead position the fron left is sticking out slightly? So how was the toe within spec????? That left wheel really vibrates/wobbles badly in right hand turns.

Anywho now my month old shocks are bottoming out badly with these Koni sport springs :argh: the ride is super jiggly on bumpy surfaces. The sensation is that of worn shocks. Anyways I suppose that's my own fault for not getting the matching Koni STRT shocks. Unfortunately no one seems to be able to supply a complete set and I REALLY don't want to wait for 3 weeks for an order. What if something else breaks in the interim???

Guys who can sort me out ONCE AND FOR ALL! I'll be in Pretoria from tomorrow afternoon till Wednesday morning, I'll pay any amount I just want my problems sorted. Please recommend and point me in the right direction

I believe in the E36 lol!

Ai man that is bad. I really hope someone in GP can assist you. You may have to consider a full compatible suspension kit. Give Freerider a PM for advice, he may not see this thread. And as for my 335 it was in its prime tonight, damn the car feels so strong; had some fun runs

Thanks Twins, I just want it sorted so I can do other fun stuff to the car.

335 looks sick with those rims and the wheel spacers. Maybe you guys should've sorted me out! Any plans for a GP branch?

Go to Motorvision in PTA, they know what they doing, their number is 012 327 1878

Thanks ma man, will check them out

So I went to Motorvision for a suspension check, and after they did their things these dudes wanted to hit me over the head because they said there is nothing wrong that they can see other than slight play in the steering rack. So I insisted that something's amiss, the car feels elastic and squirms quite badly on rutted surfaces especially at the back. This even with the newly fitted Koni Orange Sports at the back. So another tech took it for a spin. He came back and said its the bushes, they either worn or are TOO SOFT...6 WEEK OLD OEM BUSHES FRONT AND REAR?! But so far it's the only thing that adds up, the car is fine on smooth roads but simply cannot handle ruts, undulations etc. So I guess polys then???
