Yes it does count, becoz Tarlton is an MSA approved track and you do need an MSA license to race there!! if you dont, you pay for a daily license but you still need a license!!! and for rules like tyres, weight reductions, fuel mixtures etc.. allot of wicked fuel mixtures can make ur cabbie go like a rocket from hell for example Nitro methane, tollene, thinners etc.. some of the small tracks dont even check if your battery is fixed and in place!!!
Take an Stock M3.. up the compression, strip all unnecessary weight, run it on methanol and nitromethane get a 4.10 diff and a set of full slicks and you will propably see 11s
There are some local tracks around were i stay and most of them have Trovelo traps!! but the speeds and times differ constantly!!.. ill go do a couple of runs on the next event and monitor them on my Racelogic Vbox!! and ill post their timeslips and the Vbox time slips!
Im not trying to argue with you guys, just courious coz im keeping track of S.A Records and then people post 12.6's.. 12.6 is mofo strong!! abroad guys run 12.4 N/A M3's.. and no reason why we cant do it here! but if you run it on a non MSA track then PLEASE go to a MSA track and get your TIMES in the books! we need some new records..
