Steering wheel - X5 into E46

Will a MF Steering wheel from a X5 fit into a E46?

The wheel looks the same as mine But has Multi Function

I vaguely recall seeing a E46 with the X5 sports wheel, so I think the normal should also fit.

Dont have the X5 Wheel on hand.. Found it on the Gumtree for R1500 with Airbag

Also found a set of these for R800 with no tires

@ andrew: If you gonna go through the trouble of changing steering wheels, why not look for the 3 spoke sports one (E46, X5, etc) - they are so much nicer ....

the 3 spoke MF e46 steering wheel looks very similar to the 3 spoke MF X5 steering wheel(in my opinion they are the same) so i think a straight swap might work here

Cause for R1500 I can get the X5 one. Thats the lowest I have ever seen. But do you trust a 2nd hand airbag.. never know what they have "done" to it..

This is all just thoughts now.. Will have to see if the father is willing to spend..

Steering looks exactly like the MFS from the e46's Ive owned... Should be a stright swop. Question would be, will the wiring harness in your car have the connections for the MFS?
