I have a brand new steel braided clutch hose for a Z3. It will also fit the E36 and the E30. If you are aware that the standard hose has a built in restriction called a CDA, and that as the standard rubber hose heats up it causes difficulty in quick gear changes. The CDA valve in the standard setup also restricts the fluid. This was done to prevent us from doing quick pull aways from traffic lights I think :blab:
With the steel braided hose it hasn't got the CDA fitted, and also it will not "stretch" as the heat builds up during use and driving. It allows smoother gear changes constantly. The price of this imported item is R.800.00
