Stay Far Away form these Mechanics

Hi All,

I usually deal with Tunetech, who are a truly excellent workshop but had found myself going to another shop hoping to receive similar standards. I was very dissappointed.


The workshop in question is Car Service City, Sandton.

I have dealt with Car Service City, in Modderfontein in the past and was very happy with their service. I had hoped that the Sandton branch ( I work nearby) would offer me the same service. I was very wrong.


I sent my 320d for service. They over adjusted my handbrake, which caused some serious vibrations out of the rear end of my car.

This is a very long story about pathethic customer service quality and pricing. I have reported them to the RMI and on Hellopeter. I dont want to bother you lot with the drama, but know that it was not pretty.


Please trust me on this and DO NOT send your car to Car Service City Sandton, EVER.....

Eish dude you should have posted b4 taking it there.

My wife took her Clio for a normal service and came back without power and in a worse shape. We then sold it and got her the Polo 6R.

Never ever will I set my foot there anymore

@Naruto: - Sorry to hear bro. That place is pathetic. The workshop looks decent though.

I have had a good relationship with their Modderfontein branch, and was under the impression that I would get similar service at the Sandton branch.

I will never go back there.


Also, Dont ever go to E-Car in Kyalami (Mobile Tuninng something...), in the shopping centre next to the Engen Garage on Dytchley Road. Biggest bunch of rip offs. I had a serious gripe with them last year, and still advise people against going there.
