You do not have to download the game. I bought it from BTgames.

You only download the patches, which is not that big. BUT you do have to be online permanently to play.

The Updates are quite time consuming, but with the recent ADSL line upgrades it shouldn't take more than a day like it did with 384kbps.

Don't expect to play it very soon after you installed, but it's so worth it IMO.

Like Petri says you need permanent internet if you want to play, even if just single player campaign.

Give me the name of the lil bastard that told you this. Im very much known by the BT big boys and if I complain staff members lose jobs. The only time when downloads gets very big is if its a rather old game (5-10G). But normally on the box if it says internet connection required its for authentication purposes on single camp or obviously when playing multi. OR 30G if you want to download a cracked versions.

I still have the SC 1 and 2 pc games. I used to play that a lot. Not a fan of having to go online to play it though.

Who do you know at BT games? There are a couple of guys I want to loose their jobs. They haven't been able to properly do my online order for a long time and the guys in store are just plain stupid and arrogant and I have written then a number of complaints without any response.

Who is not still playing it! It's becoming the biggest thing in World Cyber Games World championships, but lately I've been doing custom maps and enjoying the Desert strike quite a lot.

Character name : Venator

Code : 271

I've never been into the custom maps. I did see you online a few nights ago.

It's been 32 weeks since I last played before this week. Missed 4 seasons and now back to gold league:bangdesk:
