Have to agree with you here. If a set of cheap rep wheels (which are not correct for this period of design anyway) was fitted, I'd take a good guess that there is little other geniune Alaina trim on the car.

Most probably a set of rep wheels and a fibreglass spoiler, nothing to indicate anything authentic Alpina about this car to warrant the price...sorry about 100k to much for the year and model imo...

Obviously a more desirable model would be an original Alpina, or at least a facelift E38. This is just a modded car. The price is very high but someone who has always wanted an E38 with that look will pay for it.

I have to agree. The 96 was the first with the 4,4-litre motor, but the 97+ had a more reliable gearbox.

Adding those pug-ugly stripes and rims don't make it desirable.

If it is in perfect nick, the price is still more than R100k too high.
