Hi all,

Just a quick question, does anyone know if the sport display is standard on the f30 3 series?

I can see in the US it only comes with NAV.

Guys it only comes with those who got sat nav screens not normal Idrive. However hope they can do a software upgrade to allow it on normal Idrive soon.

Its available on the PRO nav option only ... not just standard nav .. thats the guy with the 8" display!

However, I've heard that 'sensors' are already in place so I would think all thats needed is the software component to display the dials?

I read somewhere that they 'include' the sport display with a PPK installation which supports my theory

Bit gimmicky imo

I can confirm that it is not available only with the PRO Nav option.

My wife's 12od has it and she has a base model 2015 LCI. I'm trying to find out how i can get it on my 320d 2015 F30.

It looks like it can be coded even on normal small screen

This can be coded with eSys or Carly.

You need to have the right version of software on the DMEs, NBT HU (big or small screen but it can't be HU Entry) and on older cars the DME might not be supported at all... in not, you will get the displays but they won't work because they won't get the 'inputs' they need. Worth a shot coding and checking if they will work if you really want them - you can always revert. A bit gimicky though and I doubt they are accurate at all if the posts online are anything to go by.

Our F30 320i LCI has this , I think it now comes standard with the LCI cars . I know we didnt ask for this as an option .

Agree.
My 320d LCI has this.
I programmed the display as a hot key on the radio keys. So, I just press, say, '2' to bring it up.
Speaking of which, I find the 1-8 hot key functions really useful. My settings are.
Press 1 for tyre pressure setting.
Press 2 for sport dials
Press 3 for fuel consumption bar graph
Etc...

Odd.. We have owned 4 F series cars and they all had these sport dials.. 118i Sport, 318i LCI, 320d pre-LCI and obviously the 335i. They all had/have these dials!

My 2013 335 doesn't have them. They basically added them across the range in 2014. (Pre LCI)

Hi All, regarding the sport displays. I coded my car using e-sys. HU EntryNav can be coded for sports Display. Not sure about Old Business Champ2.

If you have Sport Mode

NBT > EFF_DYN_SPORT_CID > aktiv
NBT > EFF_DYN_SPORT_UNIT > aktiv

Works with Diesel and Petrol Engines 2014 and onwards. I have two HU_Entrynav head units for sale. One with GPS and one without. PM me if you interested.
