I think you right, it wasn't that much impressive compared to the original 1, not sure if its the same 1!!!!

This is a package that was introduced a few months ago. When purchasing a new M3 you can take it as an option, its just that this one has the frozen's paint work.

The one on Topgear which they pitted against Audi's RS5 is a competition package M3 with Individual paint work. Yes its the frozen colour but the frozen edition is unique to SA, hence it has most of the ACS goodies fitted on it. This competition package was also tested against Merc's C63 with their performance package (358Kw) on 5th gear.
