Sony Z2

Hey All

Got my new Sony Z2 cellphone yesterday and thought i would share some impressions with you guys

Fisrtly build quality is awesome.
Really feels like a well built phone and not plasticky like the Samsung's
Screen is superb. the resolution and colours is the best i have seen in a smartphone.
Multi-tasking is great and there is no lag.
Not much bloatware as Samsung so that help with the phone operating better and increased battery life.
Camera is great however there is an issue when recording with the 4k feature.
The phone heats up and the recorder shuts down after 3mins or so.
I believe that a software issue that will be sorted out soon.

Congrats buddy. I so want this phone badly. I'm on a one month waiting period at work before I can purchase it, I will only get it on 3 July.

Your summary is exactly what I've been seeing and hearing on reviews. Its a better phone compared to Galaxy S5 from a design, screen, and UI perspective.

I got your grandaddy, the Xperia Z. Have it for about 15 months now, and NO issues EVER!!

Love the brand and will never get anything else.

Me and my wife had the Xperia Neo before the Z, and now my kids use them...no issues.

I got my Z1 in November...
Pretty damn impressed... Battery life is EPIC for a Smartphone with this much power, especially in Walkman mode.

I think I'll be looking at the Z3 for my next upgrade:

I have the Z and love the quality, i had 3 iphone 4's then the 5 because no other phone had good features and build quailty, then i held the Z and it was finally something good.

Only issue i have is when it gets hot but it doesnt switch off just gets hot.

I will get the Z3 if the iphone 6 doesnt live up to it

+1 kinda hoping the IPhone 6 holds its own but if it doesnt I will change brands...been wanting to get a sony again but its never been as good as my IPhone

O.k Seriuosly, the Z1 Compact is a brilliant piece of kit. Samsung is so bloated with crap.

I wish I could have gotten the Z2, but I am not a big fan of the big screen phones.

I bet the Z2 Compact is gonna be EPIC.

Battery life on the Sony phones is something to write home about. Really, you won't believe it until you've actually experienced it.

My mom also had the Xperia Neo, like me, and in October last year we upgraded her to the Xperia Go.

It might not have all the features of the bigger phones, or be as fast with the processing power, but she loves this little phone as well, and its easy enough for her 67 year old brain to operate. :rollsmile:
