Some very cool racing data GTR vs M6 vs SL63AMG

Unfortunately I dont know where the vbox data is when all cars were still stock, but here is the latest ones I have :

1) M6 2013 V8 Twin turbo with hartge/Akrapovic (505kw - 900nm)
2) Nissan GTR 2013 (spec) HKS downpipe (415kw - 680nm)
3) Mercedes SL63 AMG Performance pack (415kw - 900nm)

All three cars loaded with Sasol 95 50lt + 1 x NF Ultra booster
Same road, same day, same everything.

GTR then M6 then SL63AMG

Nice going, very conclusive. The GTR is insane on that short distance. 0-200 for the ///M is hellishly impressive. Congrats man! :praise:

Not a bad result , considering the BMW weight is 1,925 kg and the Nissan is 1,740 kg ( 185 kg ) lighter :thumbs:

The M6 has around 90kw more than the other cars under her hood which we assume should give her more mussle.

we expected her to get to around 215km/h given her extra kw. one might argue that the extra mussle is cancelled out by her extra weight but wait, F=MA

then we'd need to be driving on free down hill in order to gain enough momentum to keep ahead of the GTR in 1/4 mile.

hows fuely? i guess the M6 chugs more considering that this battle tank has to be as agile as a Balerrina

true dat but with a difference of 90kw btwn them? it was a marginal win. keep in mind that a VW 1.6 Polo comes with around 75kw at 5000rpm. so the extra 90kw is quite a punch.

I have done 212km at Odi and 211km/h at VanderBijl. But times were worse, I decided to put the 3 BEST times I had on the printouts.

GTR on 400m is crazy, but only due to the 60ft time! GTR 0-100 is 0.5sec faster than the M6 but you can see the M6 picking up speed and therefore hits 0-200 faster which means it gained 0.7sec (almost a full second) from pull away. This is why M6 on a rolling start kills the GTR because the lead the GTR makes on pull away is cancelled.

The Merc is just BRUTE power 900nm torque and same applies once it is on speed to catch it or pass it is very difficult. When I race it with the M6 from a 2nd gear rolling, the m6 only starts pulling away at around 180km/h and not much, at and of 4th the M6 will be ahead by 1.5 / 2 car lengths..

I think I should go make videos!

Awesome times with some of the best machinery available.
The M6 impresses me the most. :thumbs:

I drove a SL65 once... Its all torque and no traction. Lol the roads were wet however. Absolutely insane car.

Who takes it on the top end 200 - 300? My moneys on the 63. But my hearts with the M6 :inlove:
