So it's been a long time since I posted here. Life I guess. Last year, after being in an F10 520d for a couple of years, I took the plunge and got myself a mint one owner F10 M5 in Alpine White. Wonderful change from being in the diesel.
I had previously had an E63 M6 and an F10 M5 before my time in the 520d, so had been hankering on getting another V10 before it was too late.
I found a rather scruffy looking, but mechanically sound, E63 M6 last month which I took the plunge and bought. After a week or so of driving it to get reacquainted with the S85, it spent two weeks in my garage being cleaned and scrubbed from top to bottom, and it was quite a job. Silverstone grey leather interior that looked brown, door panels that were disgustingly filthy and dog hair everywhere, but the end result was worth it. So now, luckily for me, I have the best of the turbo world and the NA world, with the S63 in my M5 and the S85 in my M6.
Both cars stock standard, as they should be.
