solved my iphone 5 no service issue

so after enabling LTE i had endless problems with my phone having "no service" and i had Edge most of the time i never experienced LTE speeds once while in cape town.... started getting really annoyed with me always missing calls etc
contacted vodacom disabled LTE changed apn settings etc
still had the same problem
reset network settings still the same

till i decided to restore my iphone.... and when it asked me to update my carrier settings i pressed no, so now the phone doesn't have the option of LTE and i havn't had any no service issues! and seem to have 3g all the time
