My F30 335i was damaged by wildlife a year ago and since then i have had a few different BM's but none could really satisfy what i had lost.So enter again F30 335i.
I took the trip that i have posted with many of the models, doing same speed etc.(apples with apples) and was just reminded what a marvelous machine this is.Comfort, economy and all the power you need for safe overtaking. The F30 335i actually betters the economy i achieved with the F30 328i.

First image is to Potch and second to Klerksdorp coming from Vereeniging. These figures are what i saw on my previous F30 335i under the same circumstances and attest to the fact that it is all BMW and not me.My style of driving that entails not racing to stop streets and predicting what is going on ahead do help though.
Last year when i posted a question was raised why economy would be a factor when you own a F30 335i.My answer is quite simple.I was around and driving in 1980 when the speed limit was brought down to 70km/h on the national roads due to fuel scarcity. At that stage my Audi 5E was able to do a 1000km on a tank of 69litres.If this had to happen again is it not nice to know that your so called gas guzzler is capable of doing 900km on a tank of 50litres at an average speed of 100km/h.
With all the shortages nowadays nothing can be ruled out.
