I also prefer dell, my out going laptop is a dell piece, but the lack of an rj45 port on their high-end laptops is bothersome :thumbs:

@Foz
I had windows xp & then wind 7.

Worked well, but i was frustrated with Sony's care software always popping up on startup and during normal use.

:bravo: Thanks for the help with making my decision guys :praise:

I settled for the Sony Vaio Duo 11 as it had the ethernet port, and vga port and Windows environment that I required :thumbs:

The spec that I ordered:

i5 Processor
6GB DDR 3 RAM
256GB SSD
Windows 8 64 bit

Worked out to around R17,5k from Pinnacle :thumbs:

Thanks again for the tips :ty:

Mac beats Windows hands down!!!

But since its for work, I'd say Samsung Series 9... You'll get a good 4 - 6 hours out of it. SSD means windows boots up in 5 secs & instantly ready to be used.

Go for that :thumbs:

Thanks bro, looked at the series 9, it's spec'd proper, but I like the package that the Vaio has... And I already placed the order for the Sony :fencelook:
