so I swapped my 2.93 diff with a 3.15

good to see the guys having fun with the 328s,i think its a great car in all aspects ,specially considering the price il say it well worth it,that motor loves mods and takes nicely to them,had a quick e46 328i,ended up turbocharging it

From the forum it seems that one will need a 6-speed gearbox then

my 328iM is now fitted with a 3.23 LSD (after trying 3.15 open diff.)
i had to have drive shafts made up to fit the larger flanges
car still has the 5-speed gearbox - but i am loving it

fuel consumption is an acceptable 8L/100km @ highway 120 km/h
town driving i get around 11L/100km but that is my foot's fault

anyone looking for 3.15 or 2.93 can PM me with reasonable offers.
