When i start up my 525i E34 in the morning i get some smoke but it does not smell of oil it has a strong petrol smell this is the only time i notice smoke as well. it is a white smoke and goes away almost after start up.

any ideas what this can be?

how do you test to see which one it is?

The only way is to remove them, or start it for 5 seconds and check which plug is coated in fuel.
