Good day gents/ladies

Have a E90 323i 2011, got the car about a month ago, she feels a bit on the sluggish side, service is only due in March- April according to the on board comp, any ideas, advise to get her going and to get her out of "sleep " mode. Car has got 98000 on the clocks.

The car probably as the same set of plugs when its came from the factory.

BMW only changers plugs every 100k under MP...crazy.

The car may need a good service.

When was the air filter and oil change last done.

Not sure, have to get the service history of the car. But 100k on plugs is insane!!

Check when the oil was last changed.

Also have a look at the condition of your air filter.

My guess is that its going to be very dirty.

Is it possible that your used to a faster car, making this one feel slow?
Hi, was driving a Audi A4 1.8t 2007 before, but the specs is not much diff between them in fact according to the specs is the 322i should be stronger.

Service the car and you'll see an IMMEDIATE improvement in lowend and fuel economy.Last oil change after the ludicrous 25k interval saw me draining out pitch black oil, completely sooted up plugs, all sorts of debris in the airfilter, and a scrunched up oilfilter. After replacing all these car's been superb, even dropped about 1,5l/100km fuel consumption.I'd only owned the car for a few months. Don't wait for the service indicator do it now

PS. May also be time for some new coils, I've yet to do these though.

Dont expect the 323 to feel any faster than the 1.8T. Torque you get from the turbo boosting will not compare to a similar power NA car.

If the 323 is Auto it will feel sluggish coming from a boosted car.
