Shock Towers and Bilstein ShockS

Hi guys

Has anyone had their shock tower mount tear off the body? I've had this happen to me after installing bilstein shocks on my e36 m3 3.2. If anyone knows of something or someone who can mod the tower mount to strengthen it please let me know. Will post pics ofthe damage.

Where did you have your Bilstein's installed ? The only guy I know about that is the autherized dealer and installer of Bilsteins is Ted from Afrishox. He will be able to asisst you. 011 493 0255 :thumbsup:

I had my old towers on my E36 M3 crack eventually using Bilstein coil overs. First they rounded then cracked.
What car do you drive?
I welded the crack and fitted strut mounts from the four door M3 which comes with a special rubber spacer at the top that absorbs a lot of the impact. It seemed to help as I never got a crack again.
Take the car to Ted as Kobus adviced. Possibly there might be a rebound setting wrong or something.
