Service workshop needed

Hi guys

I am looking for a RMI approved workshop to service my M since I moved back to Dbn.

So far I have come across sa autotech and glaziertech from search on the forum.

Are these guys still recommended, and are there any other service workshops I should consider.?

Thanks

ODR does some good work, a firend has his M5 built/maintained by them and they know their BMWs inside and out

My mate owns a workshop and has worked on a few E46 M3s of late. I have used him for many years on all my Opels and had good service/ethics.

He is based on the Queensburgh/Malvern side

ODR and Glaziertech know their stuff, can't say the same for SA Auto tech

after getting my car back from procar i noticed that my car showed signs of sluggishness and was running a bit hot,

thought ah well it is 32degrees plus humidity

then brakes started making noises

so i checked my car out

no copper slip added, cool noisy brakes, only paid more than dealer prices for this job

checked the engine bay, cool only few sensors not put back after having all belts changed:RedNo: like seriously, what if my motor ,my most amazingly reliable car out of all my cars surprisingly blew up from overheating

wtf

:RedNo:

so no i don't suggest procar

if you don't know how a bmw bonnet opens and then claim to be a bmws specialist then maybe you should change your speciality

hope this helps future durbanites

Why did you take your car there? The dbn guys mentioned the good workshops so why not take heed of their advice?

fear of belt snapping,it had a 20cm rough estimate of a crack along the belt,

how about you just move out of bracken and live here........

Having just bought a 1978 SE6a with a 3 litre engine and an automatic gearbox, today is the first time I’ve jacked it up to have a good look around.

I need a service workshop manual, what do you recommend and where can I buy one from?

Thanks
