Just yday I took a long good look at my car..I needed to know service parts do I use
For my M535i (e12)... I need the numbers for the air, fuel, and oil filters.
Also what fan belt do I use as the car has an aircon. How many litres of oil do I require and what type?
Thank u

Hmm interesting one........the numbers depend on the make of filters u use. note fuel filter sits under the tank at the back. oil, mine drives on Castrol Magnatec, and you need 6.5l for a change, if you do the filter as well.
You need any other parts etc? Have some spares.......

was your starter faulty?
Check your back shocks, they can be reconditioned if you have the Bilstein's in, also busy replacing my CV boots at the back.....

Hoping to put these in over the weekend:

Busy with spraying the underneath of the car with gravel guard......

The guy I bought the starter from he sent it in for repairs and it never came back... I never check shocks yet but the front apears higher than the rear(I must put proper pressure then check the shocks

colour on the shocks is a dead give away, if you have original ones in they should be yellow

You can go to realoem to check for part numbers.

Here's the Link: Realoem

Just put in your VIN number and it will pick up your car immediately.

If they are Bilstein, at Afrishox.....
What condition is your gear knob and steering wheel?

Just a word of caution, on Realoem, do not be alarmed if it does not pick up your VIN. None of the SA produced e12 535iM's were loaded in Germany......my car picks up as a BMW bike hahahahaha
