Bud it it won't be worth the money as they will halve the cover limits if they even decide to cover you at all. As soon as a car hits 10 years of age after its first registration date the warranty companies don't want to touch them. It's pretty much standard practice across the board.

If they do cover you it will be on the lowest tier available.

My advice would be the following:
Your car is going to disintegrate and blow an engine in the next 500km, therefore you should sell your E46 M3 to me before that happens.

On a serious note, get your car maintained properly by someone that knows what they're doing, have some mechanical sympathy when the car is cold etc and you should be fine. Put some money aside for emergency stuff that may go wrong.

ALso save up a bit of money, take it to Peter(Alexander1) for overall engine checkup so you know what could possibly go wrong, Gizmo would also give some direction if needed iam sure....

By the way, //Moose got a few e46 M3's with the "it's gonna blow" sell it to me story:biglol::biglol:

Good one Moose

Forget warranties. They don't mean jack once something big enough to warrant a warranty loses its ability to live.

Do the bearings now, get the vanos resealed before it breaks a tab, change the oil regularly, refresh the cooling fluid and main hoses, and perhaps have a look at the steering lines/Vanos lines. Rest should be a doddle.

+1 Tehwalleth. Warranty will also let some rmi qualified baffoon do the repairs on your car that doesn't have an idea when it comes to these things, and pay for 10 or 20 percent of the damages. Not worth it at all
