So 318D runs so rough I thought engine was knackered but seems to be fuel system fault.. HP pump has been replaced. Also cuts out when accelerating, fuel pressure desired raises but actual barely moves. Fuel pressure is about 2/3 it should be on idle.
So got inpa working and the SMA results are interesting.
Cyl4 so far negative it's not on screen.
Cyl1 so positive it's maxed out the screen.
Now if I unplug injector 4 it makes absolutely zero difference to engine pitch. Unlike 1,2,3 which does.
Error codes include 4b10, 4600, 4610.
So, does SMA base adjustments on other factors or have I got shite injectors. As I put some used injectors in 1 and 4 and no diff.
