Hi guys...

how much of you guys have used the Sebring brand MAF for your M54 engine??

Reason i ask, Im struggling to find a BOSCH MAF for my car...
Diesel Elec says that Bosch Did not make a MAF for the M54 and Will have to be Siemens/VDO...

Now Goodhope Spares has a Sebring Brand, Who of you has used it and Recieved a Positive outcome??

OR, who can get me in contact with sumone selling BOSCH products

NO Response at all???

I need a new one... Diesel Electric advised BOSCH did not make this specific one that i need ( Part number :5wk9605 ) and the VDO Part by them costs R5000 !!!!!!! :smashScreen:

Hence im looking for a Replacement of MAX, R1500, which Fellow BMW guys have used and can vouch for

Sebring Came in at R915 Incl VAT. BUT THERE ARE NO REVIEWS ON THIS PRODUCT AT ALL!!!

Diesel Electric Sold about 2 Sebrings in 2 Years total..

Any help would be appreciated. Or if you know of a fellow fanatic who Sells Good quality MAF's where i can get it from then pLease advise

If it is a 330i, then yes, the OEM MAF is not Bosch, it is Siemens/VDO and it is expensive.

The prevailing consensus is usually that OEM is the way to go for a MAF sensor. Perhaps try find a scrap yard that could sell you a used OEM MAF? Otherwise I guess an arbitrary aftermarket brand is better than nothing, but don't be surprised if it fails prematurely.
