Only thing with the S3, get a demo model to play with, the build quality is pretty shocking as they needed to keep the price down.

Well obviously the S3 is better in terms of performance as it is a Quad core processor vs a dual core.

The galaxy Note is really big...some people dislike it very much, but I like it again. 5.3" 1280x800 is good for some movies and games. As the galaxy note is like a mini "tablet" with a Stylus pen.
ICS is not yeat released on the Note, but comes standard with S3.
I'm sure soon there will be like a galaxy Note 2 or something...

My personal opinion: S3 baby...!

Good reference tks.

I like the stylus, my fingers are too thick to use the touchscreen effectively, especially typing.

I'll wait for Note II.

The SIII is leagues ahead of the SII.....it's not a case of something like iPad2 vs iPad3 cause the SIII is a whole new ball game. Performance wise the SIII is very similar to the HTConeX but having had the HTC sensation for the last year I am definitely swayed towards getting the SIII. And the SIII is way out of iPhones league....just have a look at the 4s....looks like the original mobile portable brick in comparison :biglol:

The thing is made of horrible plastic, which makes it feel extremely cheap. The AMOLED screen is pricey, which is why they had to sacrifice on build quality. It's not just me either, plenty of reviews out there stating the same.

Brilliant build quality and Sense UI is what keeps me with HTC. The S3 is still a good phone, but it's personal preference, as with many things in life.

The S3 specs are brilliant, but I think the form factor is bordering on a bit too big for practical use. Put a cover on the phone and IMO you end up with a bit too much bulk.

Also, I've got an S2 currently which is serving me well after the ICS upgrade, however, I think Samsung build quality is rubbish.

If I stick to Android, will definitely consider either Sony or Motorola next instead of both Samsung and HTC, although these 2 manufacturers typically release updated hardware first (quad core processor for example)

But what does the HTC One X have over Desire HD?

Higher spec hardware (more internal storage and RAM, quad core, etc), newer screen technology (the new LCD is amazing), and it will receive and support a lot of the future OS updates.

i have a BB 8520 as well, just for BB Messaging and keeping contact.
it gets really really slow some times.
So they told me to upgrade the phone, and i asked "to what, a nokia?"
