You cant compare the low res screen in the note 10.1 to the iPad.
Rather find a different andriod tablet with a high resolution display.

Have used both prefer the iPads screen much better but With 10.1 u can expand the memory and make calls rather got try both at the stores and decide

Note 10.1 for sure! If it had a full HD screen then it wouldn't even be a contest! Another very good alternative (with HD screen) is the ASUS Transformer Infinity Pad...:thumbs:

I went with the samsung.


Whilst the screen doesn't have the resolution of the ipad, its not bad either.

My deciding factors were:

Expandable memory
Ability to play more movie formats
Compatibility
accessibility



I went with the 16Gig, LTE version on a Vodacom MyGig 3. The data hasn't been enabled yet so I haven't been able to test the browsing and android store. But will sooon.

Where can I get a good cover and a bag to carry the charger and other goodies? Except the vodacom store or other major cell shop.

I have the ipad3, and my honest opinion, when I took it nearly two years ago, I should have taken the Samsung Galaxy instead. Its got a much better camera and apps, and supporting software is more freely available at less cost.
