One of the rear tyres on my X5 is losing a bit of pressure. I've inspected it and it looks like the tyre was plugged from the outside and the plug is coming off. It is in the centre thread area, so it looks like a safe place to have it "replugged"
However, I want to have a proper mushroom plug fitted from the inside. I.e. the runflat tyre needs to be removed completely from the rim and the plug fitted from the inside. I also want this done, to check that there is no other damage to the tyre, as I will replace if required.
Any advise on where I can take it tomorrow in the Fourways/Bryanston area. There is a Minty's in Randburg but I'm not sure if they can do it??? Will phone them in the morning, as I've only discovered it now.
Any other recommended places that won't give me the usual "can't repair runflat B$".
