Run in period for 1M.

How come there are 1M's with a service light coming on before run in period of 2000kms? Some owners have said that there light came on at 700-900kms?

Let us know when yours comes on. The km period is not very accurate so it can be that.
Cars with less than 90km on the clock can keep getting zeroed by the dealer or factory so possibly the cars have done a bit more mileage.

2043kms and it said low oil please drive very slowly to your nearest BMW stealer. I always drive slowly maybe this is why mine took so long to bed in. But now the car is very entertaining.
