technical Rough idle e46 2004 316i

Hello fellow fanatics
When my e46 gets warm it sometimes has a rough idle and can even stall at low speed or just idle.
Have been checking fault codes, nothing points toward rough idle. Replaced spark plugs. Checked Fuel Trim.
Any ideas as to what to check?

Difficult as there are no fault codes reported.

What does the fuel trims tell you: running rich or lean?

If running lean, Have you checked for all vacuum leaks?

Have you checked the camshaft sensor?

Found one vaccum leak earlier (cant remember where right now) but I fixed that and checked later, was still good.

Have not checked the camshaft sensor. How would one go about cheking it?
