I just love it when Robert De Niro and Jean Reno both turned their heads to look at the car they just slammed in to the wall in the tunnel scene  :bravo:

Epic car chase....lots of co-ordination to get those 'against traffic' scene's. Doesn't seem to be ffwd'd. Actually watched it over the w/end.....again.

I'm still wondering if it is actually an M5... I see white needles on the cluster..?

I have Ronin on blu ray, My fav car chase !!

There is a part during the chase where she is darting in and out of traffic, the needles are zero'd lol.

Still a GREAT movie!

Car actually has some other M5 bits as well....

Back end has the numberplate holder, badge and backbox of an M5

M5 gear knob:

Though this looks like the sump of M20 if I am not mistaken:
(and the control arms don't look to be aluminium)

Chances are they used (broke) a whole bunch of e34's for this.

What I love in particular about these chase scenes is how it shows how good the direction change is for the RWD M5 and rubbish it is for the other chase cars that are all FWD! Yep, odd 540i wheel just as the car gets flipped etc at the end.

There was actually a behind the scenes thing about a movie that used a BMW in chase scene where the guys said they had to make physical changes to the car just to unbalance it a bit to make for more exiting viewing....othewise the BMW would just corner without issues
