restraint systems faulty error code

ive got a e91 msport touring, but ive been getting a restraint fault message for the past few months. any idea why ive got it and who could clear it except for the agents here in Cape Town?::thumbdo:

Get the codes looked at, then you will have a smaller list of issues to aim at.

Correct.
From what I understand, the sensor may disconnect momentarily and then trigger the error.
Most times simply clearing the error will fix it.
Or just hitting the seat a few times and then resetting it again :hammerhead:

I had a touring drive me mad a few weeks back, also with an MRS error coming from the back seat.

After I removed the seat, I see someone replaced it and simply twisted the wires back together. I redid the connections and problem cleared. Some people...:RedNo:
