Resetting the brake pad sensor on BMW E60

So I had 800km left as per the on board for my front brake pads. The warning was still in amber and not red as yet but I decided to change it with the new sensor of course.

For some reason, I can't seem to get it to reset. It keeps defaulting back to the 800 remaining kilometers.

Any ideas?

Sorry man - Didn't think that anyone was interested based on the feedback. Anyway, I don't know why it did what it did and also don't know how it reset in the end.

I basically stayed within the reset option and out of frustration did it 3 times consecutively and woopeee. :dunno:

Seems to be the general feeling online too... 3 or more times :=):
At least Google seems to think so anyway.
